for Papers
Scope
of Conference:
The conference has provided
a platform for the interaction for individuals from industry
and academia to present their research in a wide range of
topics. Furthermore, the conference has a strong post-graduate
thrust providing students the opportunity to present their
research to peers. The program will have a number of sessions
consisting of mainly metallurgical topics including the following:

Submission
of Abstracts:
All potential authors (in oral and poster sessions) are requested
to submit an abstract of less than 2 x A4 pages (1.5pt spacing)
including tables, figures and references. An electronic
copy of the abstract must be forwarded to the Organising Secretary
by Wednesday, 7 May 2008. The first page should include
the title of the paper, the name, affiliation and address
of the authors, underlining the name and e-mail
address of the author to whom correspondence should be addressed.
Authors should indicate preference for oral or poster presentation.
Selection of the papers and the mode of presentation will
be made by the Organising Committee based on the two page
abstracts. Notice of acceptance and mode of presentation
will be sent to authors at the end of June 2008. A copy
of extended abstracts will be available to all delegates.
